Preston North End full-back Scott Wiseman has signed a two-year contract with Scunthorpe United, while David Buchanan has agreed a move to Northampton Town.
Wiseman becomes the second Lilywhites player to join the Iron this week, Jack King having agreed to a move to Glanford Park on Tuesday.
Gilbraltar international Wiseman came to North End on a free transfer from Barnsley in January 2014 and made 48 appearances in a Preston shirt, scoring against Colchester and MK Dons this season.
The 29-year-old’s appearances dried up in the last couple of months of the campaign, with his last start being at Oldham on February 28.
Buchanan has been with PNE for three years having signed from Tranmere in 2012.
He was a regular at left-back in the first-half of this season but lost his place to Scott Laird in February.
As well as Wiseman, Buchanan and King, Keith Keane and Lee Holmes have left Deepdale in the last couple of days - Keane agreeing a move to Cambridge United and Holmes to Exeter City.
