Cork City duo's fond farewell as they arrive at Preston

Preston North End new boys Sean Maguire and Kevin O'Connor have bid a fond farewell to Cork City.

The duo linked up with their new team mates for the first time as fully-fledged PNE players on Monday at Springfields.

Maguire and O’Connor played their final games for the League of Ireland leaders in their Europa League exit against AEK Larnaca in Cyprus on Thursday night.

The former has scored 20 league goals this season while the latter will provide competition down the left-hand side.

Both could make their Lilywhites debuts in the friendly against Burnley on Tuesday night at Deepdale.
