After securing four points from their first two games in the NPL Premier Division, Brig have lost their last three.

Narrow 2-1 defeats away to Radcliffe and Basford on Saturday have sandwiched a 3-1 loss to South Shields at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.

There are signs for boss Jamie Milligan to be positive about. Against Basford, his men were the better side for a large portion of the match but were always playing catch up after conceding twice in the first 15 minutes.

Atherton are currently in the top half of the table after picking up seven points from their first five games.
