Chorley could entertain Conference Premier side Boreham Wood in the FA Cup First Round proper if they beat Northwich Victoria tomorrow night.
The Magpies host Northwich Victoria in a fourth round qualifier replay at Victory Park tomorrow night after they drew 0-0 at Northwich on Friday.
If Chorley win it will seal the club’s first appearance in the First Round of the FA Cup since 1990 against Boreham who are one league higher than the Magpies but boss Matt Jansen is just focusing on tomorrow night’s crunch clash against the NPL First Division North outfit.
He said: “They (Boreham) are in the league above us, it is positive to get the potential home advantage but first thing first we have to beat Norwich tomorrow night.
“We just need to focus on tomorrow, Northwich are a good side but if we play to our potential we can win.”
And Chorley captain Andy Teague echoed the sentiments of his boss.
He said: “Right now it is all about winning tomorrow night.
“To get in the First Round proper would be massive for the club.
“Since I have been at the club we have got to this stage before and now we want to go one better and win.”
