Bamber Bridge moved a point clear at the top of the NPL First Division North after earning a hard-fought point at Trafford on Saturday.

Southport manager Kevin Davies stretched his unbeaten run to four games with Southport’s fourth successive draw away at Curzon Ashton in the National League North.
The Nash opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a goal from Ben Wharton, but a penalty from Steven Schumacher, after a foul on Jordan Hallam, levelled the scores 10 minutes later. The visitors went ahead in the 24th minute with goal from Hallam, but on the stroke of half-time, it was back to stalemate when Niall Cummings converted from a corner. In the National League, AFC Fylde lost at Aldershot 2-1.
