80 jobs up for grabs at AFC Fylde's new £18m complex

The new £18m Mill Farm Sports Village currently taking shape in Wesham near Kirkham, is hiring for around 80 jobs.

The state of the art leisure, entertainment and sports venue has already received over 700 applications for key roles in security, sales, hospitality and maintenance.

Martin Drake, recruitment manager at Mill Farm, is keen to hear from “enthusiastic people” who would be interested in being a part of the new and dynamic venue, with both full and part time positions offered.

He added: “This development is game changing so we’re looking for the very best people to get involved.

“We’ve got a wide variety of roles available which will benefit local residents and those looking for work in the area.”

Set to open seven days a week, the site will boast a range of bars, restaurants and event facilities and will generate a high level of footfall to the Fylde Coast.

At the heart of the Mill Farm Sports Village will be a new 6,000 capacity stadium for AFC Fylde alongside state- of- the-art 5 and 7-a-side pitches, a full size hockey pitch together with a 3G football pitch, petrol station and various restaurants and bars. The development is due to launch this June.
