Golf fans and punters alike all appear united on one thing this weekend, that the USA win the Ryder Cup comfortably in Paris!

A quick look down the list of American players and its easy to see why. They have an embarrassment of riches at their disposal.

This is the Ryder Cup though and I have a feeling Europe will push them close this weekend.

Our boost for Europe to win at 6/4 online at Betsid.com was popular for the value seekers!

It is being said that the course should suit the Europeans as its not the longest off the tee and for a value bet I like Tommy Fleetwood to be top European points scorer at 8/1.

He has won at the course before and with his consistency and temperament ideal for this, I feel he could become vital for captain Thomas Bjorn this weekend.

On the American side, I like the 10/1 about Patrick Reed.

The big hitters could find themselves somewhat nullified, Tiger hasn’t the best Ryder Cup record and Spieth hasn’t been firing lately.

Reed may not be in the best form himself but he lives for weekends like this and captain Jim Furyk could end up using him a lot.

Back to the football, and Preston North End at least stopped their losing run, albeit going out of the League Cup to Boro on penalties.

There are positives to be taken for Alex Neil I am sure, with Ben Pearson available again, Callum Robinson improving all the time and Sean Maguire back in training.

They could have done with an easier game than WBA but I have a feeling they will get something.

Another 2-2 home draw can be backed with Betsid at 12/1 and it looks good to me.

There is once again decent boxing in the final of the World Boxing Super Series on Friday night, as George Groves fights the unbeaten Liverpudlian Callum Smith. I was surprised to see Groves installed as the favourite for this, at 4/6.

The odds compilers have clearly gone with the experience here but I see Smith at 5/4 much better value.

Keep your eyes peeled online and in shop with Betsid, as we will be offering up some decent boosts over the coming days.

Enjoy your weekend folks and as always, please gamble responsibly, Joe.
