The former Larches and Savick ABC man is now 5-0 after ending his last three fights early.

On Friday night at MTK Global’s show at the Macron Stadium in Bolton, his contest with Florians Strupits lasted just two minutes and nine seconds before being waved off.

Cruiserweight Chambers, trained by Matthew Hatton in Tameside, is well aware however of what stage his career is at.

“I’m buzzing at the moment,” said the 29-year-old, who had started with two points wins in the paid ranks.

“I didn’t really go in there looking to knock him out to be honest.

“Matt just told me to box and was confident it would come and it did.

“It’s three in the first round in a row now and things are just getting bigger and better.

“I don’t want to big myself up too much though until I’m in fights with bigger names.

“I know it’s still early days and I’ve got to have these learning fights.”

His performances are certainly catching the eye though.

With an emerging fan base and a crowd-pleasing style there is certainly a lot to positive about though for the Dukinfield-based fighter who had just a handful of amateur bouts.

“I loved the venue on Friday night,” said Chambers, who hopes to return to the ring in late September or October.

“It was a good show with some great fights on. I really enjoyed it.

“Now the plan is to step up to six rounds next time and hopefully fight a couple of times before Christmas.

“The knockouts have been great but I do need to get some rounds in at some point.

“I’m getting them in sparring in the gym but it would be good to get them in the bank on fight night.”
