Betsid's Joe Whitaker takes a look at world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua's fight on Saturday

I was always told that in boxing, 'a good big un beats a good little un', which should mean Anthony Joshua wins comfortably on Saturday night, right? He should do of course, but I do believe he has a live danger in Alexander Povetkin!

Heavyweights in years gone by have fallen victim to underestimating their opponent. One punch and their record has a big red L on there. The bookies make this a 9/1 chance of happening on Saturday night and whilst I cant see Joshua getting stopped myself, you can never rule it out. As I said, its one punch, and this tough guy from Russia can certainly punch!

We have taken some decent bets at Betsid on Povetkin causing an upset, as punters look for a bet with some decent returns. Joshua has generally been on the drift from 1/16 with some to 1/8 as the firms try to tempt some big bets out of punters trying to buy a few quid!

I personally fancy Joshua to win the fight on points, which is currently a top price 7/2 at Betsid.com, just like he did against Parker. I think he has added a touch more defence to his game after the scare against Klitschko, and its worth noting Povetkin has never been stopped before.

Over to the footy and its not going well at all for North End. Is this the cold reality of where we are as a club in this league now? I still think its too early to press the panic button myself, as Neil does have options to change it up with the likes of Ledson and Barker to come in.

Our Betsid top price is 7/2 for them to get the three points in Sheffield. It might not tempt anyone though as I said, if you keep backing them with us, you will see some returns eventually!!! Personally I like the 10/1 for Callum Robinson to score first.

Blackpool have a tasty encounter at home to Luton tomorrow, and we are literally handing presents out by going a huge 2/1 for the Tangerines in our Abingdon and Lytham shops. As I say, local value that will not be beaten in any major national betting chain!

The biggest race of the weekend is the Ayr Gold Cup at 3:50. A tough minefield for punters, I always say pick one with course and distance form and with the recent downpours....go for a mud lover! FLYING PURSUIT of Tim Easterby, ticks all those boxes and can be backed at 12/1! Don’t forget new customers at betsid.com can have a free £5 bet if their first £10 one loses!

Have a great weekend folks, enjoy the fight and if you do have a flutter....keep it fun!
