Lancashire remembers: How the county honoured war heroes 100 years after end of First World War

Right across Lancashire, and the rest of the UK, silence fell to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.

Communities came together to honour those who fought to protect the freedoms we enjoy today, along with the many who have died in other conflicts around the globe.
