A zumbathon workout raised more than £500 for a service centre used by people with disabilities.
A total of 35 people took part in the event at Fulwood Free Methodist Church, where a further 70 people attended to show support.
The event was organised by Becky Higham, who works for the FX Project based within Caritas Care, in Preston,
Martin Heneghan, learning disabilities manager, said: “Becky is really passionate about the needs of the people who she supports. We are thrilled that, once again, she organised such a fantastic event to help give the people who attend our day service at FX opportunities to have new experiences in their lives.
“The main aim was not about making lots of money, but to get people together and socialise, as well as doing exercise.”
The money will be used to raise funds for creating a sensory room and quiet space for the people who attend the day service provision at Caritas Care.
