House builder Taylor Wimpey has revealed work is due to commence on its Whittingham Park scheme in Preston from September.
The development, which is located on the site of the old Whittingham Hospital in Goosnargh, will feature a total of 133 two-to five-bedroom homes. Seventeen properties will be affordable housing.
Christine Aitken of Taylor Wimpey North West said: “This is an exciting time for the team as we unveil the plans for our highly-anticipated Whittingham Park development.
“The announcement comes only a few months after we revealed Hayfield Park in the area, as we continue to support the people of Preston to progress up the property ladder.”
Taylor Wimpey has pledged over £585,000 to public transport schemes in the area, including an enhanced bus service with additional stops.
