Two firefighters from Chorley attended a blaze in the living room of a house in the town this evening.

The fire involved a pile of wood in the living room of a house on Ventnor Road in Chorley.

It occurred just after 6.15pm.

Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire and clear the smoke.
