Woman dies after being found unconscious in Preston e-cigarette shop

Lancashire Police say officers were called to the premises on Longridge Road, Ribbleton, at around 5.10pm on Saturday, March 25.

On arrival a 44-year-old woman was found in the store unconscious.

She was immediately taken to Royal Preston Hospital but police say she died a short time after arriving.

The force says the woman's death is not being treated as suspicious.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "We attended a premises on Longridge Road, Ribbleton, at around 5.10pm on Saturday (March 25) following a concern for safety call.

Officers attended and a 44-year-old woman was found at the scene unconscious.

The woman was taken to Royal Preston Hospital but sadly died a short time later.

Her death currently is not being treated as suspicious.
