Widespread power cuts in Lancashire investigated
Engineers from Electricity North West were this afternoon investigating power faults affecting more than 1,000 properties in Lancashire.
ENW tweeted : “We have removed supplies to 435 properties in #PR1 #PENWORTHAM for safety as there is damage on our cables. We will keep you updated.”
Shortly afterwards, ENW added: “We are aware of a high voltage fault in the #PR1 #GARSTANG postcode area affecting 1011 properties. An engineer is on route.”
No further details have been revealed.
