Strong winds and gusts have done this to Preston Docks at Riversway

Driftwood, plastic, rubbish and even car tyres have been blown up the River Ribble and are accumulating around the Bull Nose in the city after the Met Office issue a yellow warning for wind in the region (All pictures by Donna Clifford).
