Volunteers wanted to Marie Curie's fund-raising group in Chorley

Marie Curie is appealing for people in the local community to volunteer with the Chorley fund-raising group.Sophie Yates, Marie Curie’s community fund-raiser for the area, said: “We are looking for individuals who are organised with great communication skills to join our fantastic fund-raising group covering the Chorley area. “All money raised by the group is to provide high quality nursing care to terminally ill patients, totally free, in the local area.”The fund-raising group is looking for volunteers to join them to meet once a month and get involved in lots of ways, including helping to organise and take part in supermarket collections to helping support the fund-raising group in organising events.
