More than 1,000 eager onlookers were out in force for Prince Charles’ long-awaited visit to the Ribble Valley, which saw him visiting various shops in Clitheroe, including Byrne’s Wine Shop and Cowman’s Butchers, before stopping to speak with various participants of the famous Clitheroe Food Festival.

The prince left for his next appointment at BAE Samlesbury at around 11-15am, and will later visit Dewlay Cheesemakers in Garstang.
