Firefighters called out to a van on fire in Preston say they believe the blaze may have been started deliberately.
One crew spent around 20 minutes at the scene, on Frank Street, on Sunday morning after a “large red van” caught fire.
Police were called after firefighters, who were called at around 3.20am, ruled the fire was “suspicious”.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “One fire engine from Preston used two hose reels to extinguish a fire involving a large red van.
“Crews were at the scene for 20 minutes and due to the fire being of suspicious orgin, the police were called.”
