Urgent appeal to find missing 18-year-old Preston woman with links to Blackburn

An 18-year-old woman from Preston has gone missing and police are becoming "increasingly concerned" for her welfare.

Emily Bannister, 18, was last seen in the Brindle Road area of Preston at around 10.15pm yesterday (June 22).

Police are becoming "increasingly concerned" for Emily's welfare and have launched an urgent appeal to find her.

A spokesperon for Lancashire Police said: "We would appeal to anyone who sees Emily or has information on where she may be to get in touch.

"We would also urge Emily herself to contact us if she sees this appeal."

Emily is described as white, with black/red hair and eyebrows that she has recently shaved off.

She was last seen wearing black leggings with a white Puma logo, a black bubble jacket with a thick fur hood and black Nike trainers.

Emily has links to Preston and Blackburn, according to police.

Anyone with information about Emily's whereabouts should contact police by calling 101, quoting log number 1591 of June 22.
