A man who who missing following a car crash in Preston has been found safe and well.
Connor Hegarty, 23, was last seen at around 2.30am on Monday, driving a silver Vauxhall Astra in Tulketh Brow. His car was later reportedly in a crash near Railway Bridge in Fylde Road, and close to Ashton Basin, police said.
Searches of the Lancaster Canal, near to Ashton Basin in Preston were carried out but nothing was found.
Police said he had been found safe and well in Preston on Saturday afternoon.
That followed an emotional plea by his father to get in touch with his family or authorities.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "Missing man Connor Hegarty has just been found safe and well in Preston. A big thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
