Update: Man arrested after crash in Preston
A man has been arrested after a crash in Preston on Monday.
Police were called to Ribbleton Avenue near Blackpool Road at about 12.40pm, to reports of a red Vauxhall Astra in the middle of the road, thought to have been in a collision.
The crash was causing delays for motorists in the area.
Police said the driver left the scene, but then contacted police a short time later.
They said a 36-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of driving over the legal alcohol limit, and bailed until March 3.
There were no injuries, and no other vehicles involved.
