The A59 has reopened after two motorbikes were involved in an accident on the major road.
Police said the A59 at Clitheroe was closed because of a road traffic accident, between the junctions of Whalley Road and Pimlico Link Road.
Eye witnesses reported that the bikers were travelling in the direction of Skipton when the accident happened.
The Air Ambulance was called as at least one of the bikers was injured.
It is believed a Land Rover Discovery was also involved in the smash.
The road has now reopened, and police thanked motorists for their patience.
