CCTV from the micropub, which opened earlier this year, shows two men wearing masks entering the building after smashing through a large window.

Owner Tom Robinson said: "Sad times indeed folks but at 10.05pm this evening two cowards put a brick through our window shattering the glass and attempted a robbery.

"They managed a couple of Coke bottles and the police have already been informed but...we are still close to the time and if anyone has any information or recognises these two or their clothes, please get in touch.
