Hide AdCampaigner Michael Ellison described the silence as a ‘very touching moment.’
He said: “I think the protestors just wanted to show their respect to her family and to remember what a great loss it is for the people.”
He added more than 150 people attended the march to fight for the re-opening of the A&E department.
