All lanes have re-opened following an earlier three vehicle smash on the M55, say police.
Two lanes were closed on the eastbound carriageway just before the M6 interchange at around 9.40am on 20 March.
The lanes re-opened at around 11am after vehicles had been recovered and debris cleared from the road.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "There were no reported injuries and it seems that everyone has made it out of their vehicles."
Drivers in the area reported tailbacks and delays.
