'Three people taken to hospital' following car crash near Warton

Emergency services rushed to a collision involving a BMW and Range Rover in Bryning Lane at around 2.40pm today (October 16).
Firefighters rescued one person from one of the vehicles using cutting equipment, and have confirmed three people were taken to hospital following the collision.

Hide AdOfficers confirmed one of the casualties was the driver of the BMW and they were taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two fire engines from Lytham and Wesham were called at 2.54pm to a road traffic collision involving two cars on Bryning Lane, Warton.
"Firefighters used cutting equipment to release one person from one of the cars. Three people were taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service."
Photos from the scene show vehicles were severely damaged as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance was also spotted in the area, according to eyewitness reports, but this has not yet been confirmed.
North West Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
