Residents in the Deepdale area are being warned that a major road will be closed ahead of PNE's game with Leeds United.
Police say Lowhtorpe Road will be closed between approximately 5 and 7pm on Tuesday, April 10 between its junctions with Blackpool Road and St Gregory's Road.
Access to Bill Shankley Crescent will also be restricted.
Supporters are advised that they will still be able to access the Invincibles car park on Lowthorpe Road via St Gregorys Road, Skeffington Road and St Stephens Road.
Sgt. Paul McLernon for Preston police said in a statement to residents: "Due to the number of coaches that are anticipated for this fixture Lowthorpe Road will be closed for the duration of the game and for a period before and after the match.
"I would hope that these arrangements do not affect access to your property unduly.
"However, I would ask that careful consideration is given to travel arrangements to and from your property within the affected times.
"We understand the inconvenience that this causes to residents and a re making every effort to find a suitable location for the coaches to go.
"We will of course make every effort to open the road as quickly as possible once it is safe to do so."
