One person taken to hospital after car flips onto side following crash with van near Preston College

Police, ambulance and fire crews rushed to a crash on Sharoe Green Lane in Fulwood at around 8.20am today (April 22).
Reports suggest a car rolled onto its side after crashing with a van, with the front of the van also sustaining a substantial amount of damage in the collision.

Hide AdOne person was trapped and released from one of the vehicle by firefighters, and was subsequently taken to Royal Preston Hospital with minor injuries.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "There were minor injuries. It involved a car and a van.
"The call came in at 8.20am and the road was reopened by 9.30am."
Fire crews from Fulwood and Preston were at the scene for approximately twenty minutes.

Hide AdA spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The incident involved a car and a van and there was one casualty trapped.
"Fire crews assisted in releasing the casualty from the vehicle before handing them over to the care of ambulance crews at the scene.
"They were then transported to hospital for treatment."
