A new 20mph speed limit zone will be enforced on a section of Liverpool Road in Penwortham.

A 20mph limit zone on a section of Liverpool Road in Penwortham will begin today (March 9).
The limit will apply between The Venue and Chesmere Drive.
The decision comes after John Horrocks Way opened in December 2019.
It is hoped the limit will encourage drivers travelling out of Preston to use Golden Way.
Lancashire County Council have been approached for comment.
