A man has died following a crash in Ingol, Preston.
The 74-year-old had suffered what were thought to be minor injuries in a crash earlier this month, but died the following week.
The accident happened at about 12.45pm on May 12 on Granton Walk at the junction with Tag Lane, when a Citroen C2 hit a brick wall.
The driver, a 74 year old man from Preston, suffered what were thought to be minor injuries at the time.
But his condition later deteriorated and he was admitted to Royal Preston Hospital where he died on May 18.
Sgt Tracey Ward of the road policing unit said: “This is a tragic incident in which a man has sadly lost his life and my thoughts remain with his family and friends.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the local area at the time of the collision and may have seen what happened to contact us.”
