Two lanes were closed on the southbound exit slip road at junction 31 (A59 Preston New Road, Samlesbury), causing delays for those leaving the motorway.

Lancashire Police said the incident was a "damage-only collision" between two vans and no one has been injured.

National Highways say the lane closures were lifted by 9am.
