M6 closed as police respond to wrong way driver
A car spotted driving the wrong way on the M6 has forced police to shut the motorway this morning.
Police have closed the northbound carriageway - between junctions 34 (Lancaster, Morecambe) and 34 (Carnforth) - due to the person driving in the wrong direction, towards oncoming traffic.
All traffic has been stopped whilst police respond to the incident.
