The 17-year-old was taken to Royal Preston Hospital by air ambulance after the collision in Blackpool Road at around 2pm on Saturday (July 2).
North West Ambulance Service said she suffered a fractured pelvis and a head injury but her current condition is described as stable.
Police closed Blackpool Road in both directions – from Weeton Road to A585 Fleetwood Road – whilst emergency services worked at the scene.
