Family pay tribute to 34-year-old Morecambe biker who died in crash

A Morecambe family has paid tribute to their 34-year-old son who died in a crash at the weekend.

Mark Knowler, 34, died on Saturday (May 2) after his Kawasaki motocross bike was involved in a crash with a Kia Rio at the junction of Westminster Road and Devonshire Road at around 3.05pm.

"Mark was a loving son, dad and uncle, who will be sadly missed," said his grieving family in a tribute to him.

"We would like to thank all that have taken the time to pay tribute to him."

Sgt Martin Wilcock has been investigating the crash and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.

He said: "Our thoughts very much remain with Mark’s family and friends.

"I am continuing to ask anyone who witnessed the collision to speak to us as soon as possible.
