Commuters are set to face disruption with temporary road works because of sewer improvements.
Engineers from United Utilities need to put temporary traffic lights along Station Road in Croston on March 20 for up to two weeks.
Some residential parking on Station Road will also be affected.
A spokesman for United Utilities said: “We know what a nuisance this will be, but we have no choice as we need to fix this problematic sewer once and for all.
“To allow traffic to move past our working area safely we need the temporary traffic management in place.
“To keep disruption to a minimum we’ll be using trenchless technology. This basically means we won’t be digging up long stretches of Station Road.”
