Delays after crash on major Preston road

Drivers are reporting problems around Watling Street Road this afternoon following a crash.

Fire, ambulance and police are all at the scene.

Police say they were called to the incident near to Fulwood barracks at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, July 24.

A police spokesman said: "We have received a report of a crash.

"It seems that a car has been involved in a collision with two other vehicles."

Ambulance services say that, one patient was said to be suffering from shock, a second patient was reported to be suffering from stomach pains and another is believed to have suffered minor injuries.

Fire, ambulance and police are all at the scene.
