Buses to replace trains between Preston and Ormskirk until afternoon
Preston commuters are facing long bus journeys to work this morning after trains to Ormskirk were cancelled.
Points failures near Preston means train are unable to run between Preston and Ormskirk until repairs are complete.
This means all trains on the route will be cancelled and replaced by buses. Coach provider B&N will take people to their destinations with stops at each station.
National Rail said normal services on the line should resume around 12pm.
