A white van man is the latest driver to come unstuck at the site of Preston's famous Fishergate Bollard.
The white van became marooned on the base of the former bollard in Fishergate yesterday evening during rush hour.
The bollard, which was removed in the summer, is still proving a challenge for some drivers.
The main bollard was whisked away by the Lancashire County Council after a number of drivers struggled to navigate around it.
All that remains of the once proud bollard is the concrete base, but this also has stopped a number of vehicles in their tracks.
Just last month a Volkswagen Polo ploughed into the base and had to be recovered.
The bollard has become a Preston folk institution, boasting its own unofficial Twitter account followed by thousands of people.
