Vehicle stranded on M6 sliproad near Wigan
Officers from Highways NorthWest are responding to reports that a car has been stranded on an M6 slip road.
The car is said to be at the southbound exit at Junction 24, at Ashton in Makerfield, four miles south of Wigan.
A spokesman said: "We are responding to multiple reports of a stranded vehicle in lane two of the slip road."
