Two-cars collide on busy road in Preston

Fire engines from Preston were called out to Watling Street Road just before 9am on Wednesday, April 11.

A spokesman for the fire service said: "We were called out to an accident in Preston.

"Thankfully the occupants of both cars were out of their vehicles when we arrived and nobody was injured.

"We made sure that no hazards remained and checked the road for spilled fuel and oil."

The road was blocked for around 10 minutes while crews cleared the scene.
