Rush hour delays as damaged car closes one lane of major Preston road

The incident took place around 5pm in London Road near its junction with Ephraim Street not long before the bridge into Walton-le-Dale.

Video footage captured by the Post at the scene of incident shows a grey Toyota being loaded on to the back of a removal van.

A police van is also shown blocking off the left hand lane, with all traffic filtered into the right of the two lanes exiting Preston.

It is not known if any other vehicles were involved in the incident.
