Road closed in Lostock Hall after collision
Police have closed a road in Lostock Hall following a crash involving two cars.
Officers were at the scene last night and were asking motorists to avoid the area on Stanifield Lane near to its junction with Fowler Lane.
The crash took place shortly before 7pm.
The incident comes as motorists faced a difficult Friday night commute, with severe delays on the M6 northbound and M61 northbound at Preston.
