One arrested after flipping car onto its roof in suspected drink drive crash

A suspected drink driver was lucky to walk away with only minor injuries after crashing their car - but still ended up in a police cell.

Clitheroe Road in Whalley was blocked in the early hours of this morning after a car flipped onto its roof, leaving debris and broken glass scattered across the carriageway.

Police said its driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, and added: "Luckily no-one was seriously injured. DON'T drink and drive."
