Man suffers 'serious' leg injuries after crash in Penwortham
A motorcyclist suffered serious leg injuries following a collision with a car in Penwortham, say police.

The 28-year-old man from Penwortham also suffered a suspected broken wrist during the collision with a Seat Leon which happened on Pope Lane.
Emergency services attended the incident at around 4pm on May 21 and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance.
An occupant of the car was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "We were called to a collision involving a motorcyclist and a car in Penwortham. The motorcyclist, who was riding a Suzuki, suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to hospital.

"An occupant of the Seat was also taken to hospital."
The road was closed for over an hour while emergency services dealt with the incident.
