Man injured in two-car crash on Tag Lane

A man suffered injuries to his hand in a two-crash in Preston, say fire services.

Crews from Preston were called out to the crash on Tag Lane near to the junction of Cottam Avenue at around 6.30pm on Monday, April 9.

Firefighters arrived to find that nobody was trapped in their vehicles, although one man, in his sixties had suffered some minor injuries.

A spokesman for the fire service said: "We were called to a road traffic collision between two vehicles.

"No-one was trapped and there was no fire.

"Firefighters administered first aid to a male casualty."

Ambulance services said that the man was not taken to hospital.

The road was blocked while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Crews spent around 30 minutes at the scene.
