M6 closed southbound after car fire
The M6 has been closed at junction 34 near Lancaster tonight after a car fire.
The silver Mercedes is stuck in the hard shoulder of the motorway and police pictures show traffic halted at the scene.
Lancashire Road Police said they had reopened lanes two and three shortly before 9.40pm.
