Lanes blocked on northbound M6

A four vehicle accident blocked two lanes of the M6 this morning, say Highways England.

The accident happened at junction 31a for Longridge at around 9am.

The carriageway was fully cleared by 9.30am.

One person suffered minor injuries, thought to be a hurt wrist in the incident.
