Firefighters from Lancaster and Bolton-le-Sands were called out at around 5.05pm, to find the flames were already out.
They used a fan to get rid of the smoke, a spokesman said.

Nobody was hurt when a grill pan set on fire at a house in Central Avenue, Lancaster, the fire service said.
