Delays as part of M61 closed
Delays were expected across Lancashire on Thursday after part of the M61 was closed in both directions.
North West motorway police said the motorway was closed in both directions between J5 and J4, because of an “incident”, and an air ambulance was landing.
Highways England warned motorists to expect delays.
